More than 120 original works by 47 artists were exhibited in the hall of the gallery in the Central House of Artists - a set and costume designs, models and reconstruction from the collections of the National Theatre Museum A.A. Bakhrushin, the Museum of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, the State Museum of Mayakovsky, as well as works from private collections.

Over the past few decades, interest in Russian and inparticular to the avant-garde theater provoked aseries of thematic theatrical exhibitions abroad. In Russia, for the first time we presented the exhibition,creating a theatrical panorama of the 1910-1930period.

 

In addition to the works of theater artists A.Arapova,I.Rabinovicha, V.Ryndina, F.Fedorovskogo, A.Exter, were represented in the theatrical works of many famous artists such as V.Tatlin, A.Lentulov, A.Kuprin, N.Goncharova, L.Popova, A.Vesnin, A.Rodchenko etc.
