1901 — 1943  Mikhail Nedbailo studied at the art studio of ProletCult (Proletarian Culture) under the guidance of V. D. Falileev (1922–1923), at the Higher State Artistic and Technical Workshops (VKhUTEMAS) — the Higher Art Technical Institute (VKhUTEIN) under P. V. Kuznetsov, R. R. Falk in Moscow (1923–1927).  Since 1919 Nedbailo took part in different exhibitions. He was a member and one of organizers of the art association Rost (“Growth”, 1928–1929), the group Trinadtsat (“Thirteen”, 1923–1931). Since 1928 Nedbailo taught at the College of Industrial Art in Yaroslavl.  Mikhail Nedbailo died at the front in the Great Patriotic War in Byelorussia in 1943.
