Rodchenko Alexander Mikhailovich
painter, graphic artist, designer, set designer, photographer. born in a family of theatrical props. In 1910-1914 he studied at the Kazan Art School in N. Feshin. In 1914 he moved to Moscow. He married VF Stepanova. He continued his studies at the Stroganov School of Industrial Art. During these years, carried away stylistically modern, devised decorative vignettes. But already in 1915 created the graphic compositions using the drawing tools - a compass and ruler. I got carried away collage. In 1916, together with LS Popova, VE Tatlin, AA Exter took part in a futuristic exhibition "shop" in Moscow. In 1917, together with Tatlin and GB Yakulov designed the cafe Pittoresk "at the Kuznetsk bridge: created project lighting. In 1918-1920 he worked on the spatial structures. Since 1918 he worked in the department of Fine Arts Narcompros, in 1918-1926 he taught at the Moscow School Proletkult. Since 1920 - Member of the Presidium INKhuK. Rodchenko - one of the organizers of the production department VKhUTEMAS, then VHUTEINa. It was in these institutions dean of metal separation.
